Does anyone think these are worth purchasing? I saw an 1887 NGC MS -63 for $95 online I thought it might be nice to have for its historical interest as this guy was connected to the Purple Gang. Anyone here collect these and Binion hoard stuff?

I've seen the "Fitzgerald collection" silver dollars for years but I had never heard any information of where they came from or who "Fitzgerald" was. Did some checking and found some information. Seems they probably did belong to Lincoln Fitzgerald. He does not appear to have been a member of "The Purple Gang", but he did hire Purple Gang members to act as guards for his gambling activities. The Purple Gang was the dominant criminal gang in Detroit during Prohibition and were the conduit for a large amount of the illegal liquor that flowed into Detroit from Canada to the rest of the country.
