I was comparing varieties of seated liberty types from an article and it appears that this is a WB-102. Is that correct? What about the lower but is it open or closed?

Actually I am starting to think this is WB-104.

The bud appears closed on this coin which would make it a WB-104.

If you have a coin prior to 1875, take a look at the berry it will be more rounded and split in the middle. Or take a look at the Heritage Auction archives there are high quality pics to use for comparison.

This is actually 1877-S, I probably should have specified it. I saw some pics to compare the mint mark placement.
