One would think with that distinct pattern of BRITANNIA , especially the second I and N, it would be an easy attribution. Are we confident it is a Machins Mills and not another Bungtown piece? The outlined crosses on the British flag on the shield (which set apart the superimposed saltires of St Patrick and St Andrew) are visible on this coin. For me ... worn corroded coin with obverse figure facing right ... reverse Britannia facing left .. To the experts ... big lips matter.
