Here is a 1852 Three Cent Silver I just picked up. I'm curious to see where people think this grades compared to what I was thinking when I bought it. The picture doesn't show it but you can still make out where the 1 and 8 are worn down in the date. Thanks for the help.

This is a tough call with the pictures provided.
G-4 on a good day.
Let's see what the CCF members grade.

You're probably more experienced with 3-Cent Silvers than I am but I do have some. What you're describing as a G-4 looks like atleast a VF-20 to me?

I'm guessing somewhere in the lower VF grade hard to grade with that picture. I have a 53 MS-63 CAC that has a weak date as well.

I would also need better pictures because the shadows are making it difficult for me to render a grade. I think this might have an uneven strike and would be in the VF to XF range. If you could take it out of the 2x2 and post those images I think you would receive more accurate grades.

Still at VF20 out of the holder, nice coin, a bit dark, but nice.
