Farthing Ireland Or Britian 17th Century But Which?

vince1977 Pillar of the Community Netherlands 847 Posts	Posted 07/03/2014 08:47 am Hello All, Ive got this farthing which I can't identify yet. It is probably an farthing begin 17th century. But both the Ireland and Britain has te same type. And there are alot of varities which all look the same to me. Aswell there are contemponary coins of this type. My likes kind of light struck and the letters aren;t that great. So it could be an contemponary? Or not haha. Who could help me to solve this puzzle? It looks like both these.. Obv. legend: CARO.. Note: Richmond issue (1625-34 (contractg passed to Duches of Richmond) And all others similair. Here the pictures of the coin. Diameter is 16mm weight is 0,59 grams. Report this Post to the Staff

If you look here on MCsearch.info You see aswell there are other contemponary counterfeit coins of the britisch/irish coinage.
