Hi Bonedigger,

It dawned on me that I never took side by side pics of the two Edward coins. They turned up in dime rolls several weeks apart. I put them in the UK coin forum and the link will take you there.

Have Fun,

I must ask, where do you get the rolls to check, a bank...? That's incredible...

These came from a bank branch inside a supermarket.

I also picked up a nice 10 cent piece of NewFoundland at the same bank.

I get coins there a few times each week:-)

The stuff that turns up is absolutely fascinating. The varieties and errors are astounding:-) I have a box of over 5000 non-U.S. coins that I've accumulated along with all the good U.S. stuff.

Of course I've looked at over 3,000,000 cents and probably close to 1,000,000 halves by now. I recently got interested in dimes again after I found some of that great stuff along with a near full roll of silver dimes.

I think I'm pretty lucky! I'm one of those guys that can even find coins buried in the ground without using a metal detector:-) LOL!

Have you ever bought a lottery ticket? Would you like to buy one for me? Sheesh. I would just like to find a bank in the Toronto area with a coin counter and you're pulling these kinds of things out of rolls. I'm going to ask my bank why their rolls stink. :D

I very seldom ever buy lottery tickets:-) Rather than spend two bucks on a scratch off, I get four rolls of pennies or a roll of nickels:-) My odds of winning are better that way:-)

I play the lottery...and if I ever win it, I'm gonna buy a COMPLETE set of "V" nickels!

When you say complete, do you mean the 1913?

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of all dates and mints including proofs and 1883 no cents/cents...all in MS65 and PF65 or better.

But now that you mention it, that 1913 DOES kinda match the rest of 'em.

If I WON the lottery I would buy 1 of every know DOUBLE DIE, that would be an impressive collection. And I play the lottery and have no LUCK!
