I happened to stumble upona 3 and a 4 digit repeater today as I withdrew from the bank. Does anyone really buy these? A 2 or 1 digit repeater I would find pretty cool, but 3+ not as much. What do you guys think?

I like and I know people who enjoy Repeaters.,.The CoinCForum here likes to comment on the bills (When we all see the picture).,.We all try to grade, identify, and state comments like spend or Keep.,.A Pic seems to be the thing though..

Here's my take on it...

I like to collect notes... but I like my notes to have something that makes them stand out a little bit from the rest. So I search for specific number sequences and the like...

Why have just a regular $5 poly note when you can get a radar or repeater or solid.... find one of those and you're a bit happier about that note being in your collection. So will someone buy it? Sure I suppose so.. but probably not anytime soon or if so not for much of a premium when they can get a repeater themselves with enough searching at the bank.

Remember those old $1 bills? They're still around and you can get them for pretty close to face value most times... but if that same $1 was a repeater it would be a whole lot more attractive...

So if you're not a note collector or don't see holding onto the note for say 20 yrs... I say spend it...

You do make a good point. I'm not too into collecting notes but I did get a nice serial number on an america bill not too long ago and it did give me a good feeling. The feeling of having something different from every other bill.
I will post pics of the repeaters I got. Again, probably nothing big, but just to show

Send note to staff

I tried sending you a PM as well but it says you do not accept emails on your account. Maybe you could change that in the settings
