Well its as simple as what I think it is. The image optimizer seemed to put a tint on these when ran through... or more than likely I'm just making excuses for myself haha! Either way I'll play around with some options but I think these are sufficient to get a fun topic going in my opinion

If there was a 1943/2/1 it would probably be documented somewhere.
The only known Mercury dime overdates are the 1942/1-D and 1942/1 (P)

Well DVCollector that's all part of the fun haha! Worst case scenario in my opinion is its a 1943/1. I'm trying to do a better job at staying humble with my opinions, so I'll be sending this one off but I will be surprised if it comes back as a no go.

Nope, not seeing much other than well-placed damage/debris. There is no known variety. One thing to keep in mind is, across any type of US coin, how many overdates are there where the dates are 2 years apart? If I recall there might be one or two somewhere, but this hardly ever happens. Makes sense when the year is transitioning to the next year, but how would you have leftover dies from 2 years ago? If you want to spend the $50+ to send it in, go ahead, but I wouldn't. Keep it as a lucky coin if you want.
