Found these plastic 'coin rolls' in a box of cents from Brinks. I've never seen them before. Has anyone else? Funny thing is you can see there are 2 Dimes in one of the rolls. So much for see-thru plastic rolls. I think they say made in Canada on them along with 50 x 1 and PLASTIC CHANGE. Anyone know anything about them? Dar

That is really weird. Never in almost 3 years of roll hunting have I seen those.

I have a couple here, but I don't know where they came from. They're pretty neat.

I see lots of these up here, they are kind of annoying as sometimes they don't close all the way and people end up taping them up or putting elastic bands or twist ties on them (grr!) They break at the ends and split fairly often too. But you can quickly and easily edge check with them!

Yup, very common in Canada... tellers hate them because they fall apart easily and have sharp edges.

Well, they made it to Central Florida in great shape!

I see these all the time, they are sold at every dollar store in equal or greater volume to paper rolls (but banks still give out paper rolls for free so you see more of those than anything else). Strange to hear that they haven't caught on in America.

I've have seen these before. They are just commercially sold rolls. They are made to be reusable.

Well, I started and looked at 1 of the rolls. I's sending the wife back to see if they have any more. The one I looked through, I would say 25 were BU 2000 with another 10 BU 1999. A 1955 poor mans double die about G-10+. my eye's are tired tonight and I will look closer tomorrow as I believe I saw some DDR's and at least 1 DDO in there. I'll post more if some thing good show's up. I also think I'm going to use the roll's as counters after I test them to see if they will work out. Have fun! EDIT: I also found a nice heavy Die Clash on the 1989 P Dime in the roll. Both side's.

I see those a lot and I don't like them. They come in all Canadian denominations if I'm not mistaken.
But they keep breaking on me. One time I had a group of 10 nickel rolls in an elastic band; over half were those plastic ones. I dropped them on the floor of a car and all the plastic ones broke.
