Here is an anomaly (for my collection anyway, LOL ) in that it's a TPG (Older PCGS) coin. What grade would YOU put on the flip of this 1878-CC Morgan if you were the grader?

Thanks For Looking
Ben

It's hard to tell through the slab, but there appear to be bag marks on Liberty's chin that I think will hold this coin back. So...Ms-62?

Hi Hunter,
The cheek marks look very shallow and shouldn't hurt the grade too much. This one is at least 2 points better than mine which is graded MS-61 by ANACS. So, I'd say MS-63 and I don't think MS-64 is out of the question.
Nice Coin!

It is hard to tell, is the bang at the front of the forehead on Liberty on the holder? If it is on the coin I am coming in 62/63.

VG TOPS! Seems like PCGS had made errors, once again. Good thing I work for them and will be able to fix this problem. Just send the coin to me and send you the cost of the grading/shipping/value of the coin in VG and $50 for any inconvenience. PM for my address.

63. The stuff on the cheek is negotiable, but there are some sizable hits in the fields which would limit my opinion of grade.

Thanks for the shots. You all were very close and should be professional graders. MS-62... See thread about the 1889-S.

Take Care
