Royal Mint released the design for the 2014 20 for 20 coin. Those who registered their interest should have received an email allowing them to order today. Ken

If anyone in america wants to, I can order a couple extra and ship them out for £20 + actual postage. Might be cheaper than going through the Mint's shipping. Just PM me before the end of the week.

Straight from the mint to mainland US is £12.50. It should be just under £4 for me.

I ordered three on Monday and they arrived yesterday (Wed). One for me and the other two will be headed for North America (US and Canada).

Personally I've declined the chance to pick this one up, I think the reverse is quite dreadful tbh.

Im not sure if its worth going for the full 5 - they are legal tender, but people have had trouble using them. I have 2 of the 2013 ones still in their packaging, perhaps just buy 3 (free postage and then ill use the 3rd to pay for postage next time I'm at the post office).

Horrible design. It's simply another coin commemorating the First World War. Nothing special about it at all.
"Only 250,000 available - a very limited edition"
A limited edition of 250,000? With a mintage that large it might as well be a circulating coin.

Mine was delivered yesterday. Looks slightly nicer in hand than on the pics, but still not a design I really like. (Lord Kitchener £2 design would've been much better)

Ive only ordered 3 (and the third was just for free postage). I'm keeping two, so if anyone wants a third for £20 + postage, let me know.

Ordered it last night after nearly an hour of The Royal Mint site being slow in it's processing. We only received news of it on 1 August.
