3 of the 4 mullets have 6 points while one has 5. I was told this is a sign of the Mint. Is that correct? Any help would be appreciated

Spink's Coins of Scotland ... (2003) says, maybe.

It seems to be the total number of points to the stars that is of interest. Coins with 23 points like yours seem to occur with classes Mc and E, but I don't know if subsequently a particular mint has been linked to this.

Yours looks like Mc from the shape of the R in REX. Spink 5055
