Hello All!

ive bought this coin which is in a I don't know how to cal it :).
Can't identify him yet.
It looks like The Thaler KM#132. But the sword on that type is towards the T and mine is towards the N. And aswell coming through the lines.

It looks exactly the same as KM#89 but then dated 1623 instead of 1616.
Or Do I just read it wrong in the Krause?

Even though like this it makes the coin less valuable. It has something special this way.

As Krause points out when describing KM#132: "Varieties exist". These thalers are anything but rare with a very high mintage, so there would have been quite a few slightly different dies showing the same year. Compare it with the following coin, where the sword points exactly between the N and the T: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/1009473

Hello Diatonix! Thanks indeed looks the same. You are right indeed the Krause did mention that. Just wondering is this used as some kind of an ashtrade or so?
According to krause they are in VG state 75 dollars. So even though it has an high mintage they are scarce I think.

You won't find that many 17th century thalers that go for less. I mean, a thaler is after all a thaler. But compared with others, KM#132 is not at all rare. It's a shame, actually, because I happen to have 4 of them...

Thank you! All nice coins indeed. Different dates aswell wow. The right one up and down appears to have an mintmark below the weapon on both sides.
Did you find these with an metal detector or bought it in the past?
