I was on a roll but now I had a few misses in a row, always more to learn.

they are 1972-p lincoln cents

I found a lot of coins similar to this here are three that have a question as to the type of doubling or thickness?

Most everyone knows about the numerous doubled die varieties for 1972 but roughly half of all 1972 issues also had minor master die doubling which many confuse with the much less common hub doubling.

OcalaFlorida, Appreciate your post and insights as well. Coupled with Biokemist's and Coop's input this thread provided some additional technical points to ponder that will be used for future reference. Thanks, Doug.
