It appears to be a slider that would likely grade low MS. The tarnish/toning is a bit of a concern on gold as it could be contamination that might lead to environmental damage.

BH1964, is there any safe way to remove the tarnish without affecting the coin? The coin was in an old plastic flip, unstapled.

Not sure you can remove that toning without hurting the coin. I'd leave it alone. Overall it is a nice coin, doesn't appear to be cleaned and no significant hits. I'd say quality AU55.

I'd say AU-58 from the pics of it.
The reddish toned regions are a bit higher in copper. Leave the coin as is, IMO.

Yes, if they're carbon spots then leave them alone as there's nothing you can do and it's probably best to do nothing if you don't have conserving experience.
