Being new to coin collecting , the internet has been great to give me an idea of what to collect. I'm really happy to say I've finally collected all the coins on this list . Among others.

I'm still not sure, most people seem to concentrate on one particular group of coins. Maybe banknotes or florins.

I don't even know what, Australian tokens of the gold rush era,
are Peter.

there have been books published on them, one by Renniks.
Go into ebay, and search with the words "Australia tokens" - I just did, and got 964 hits.
Most, but not all, were manufactured in Melbourne, by Stokes.
It is a fertile area for research and for collecting.
