Often times that is a sign of malware or a bad browser plugin. Make sure you don't have any funky add-ons or toolbars installed and run a system scan with your virus protection.

There is a current exploit called the Rosetta Flash Attack.

"eBay, Tumblr, Instagram, and Olark are known to be vulnerable to attacks that can intercept authentication cookies or other data they send end users."

I know when I try to go to a listing. Up in the search box an address pops in it. Its SFBA*fga*fga*10a*10a. I can get out of it and start all over. Its just real annoying. And thanks for the input.

Sounds like a virus. I had something similar a couple of years ago, and it was a pain to get rid of.

That happened to me on the iPad. I was looking at a completed listing for a CBH and I would be redirected to a domain-for-sale place. Same place, same listing. I just stopped clicking on it.

There is also a worm that impacts Linksys routers. The DNS settings get hijacked and you will keep getting popups from various sites.

Sounds like a re-direct Malware. I had an issue with this where I would search for something on google and when I clicked on the search results it would re-direct me to some random website. I cleaned it up by running a couple of different antivirus sweeps and malwarebytes.
