Hello all-

This is my '26 Peace that I inherited. I'm trading up to a better condition '22, so I'm looking to sell this one.

What are your opinions on grade and reasonable asking price?

Disclaimer: I tried to photograde this myself, but I don't know the Peace dollar well enough to be confident in the grade I came to. Also, I'm not an expert photographer and I didn't know which areas to take pics of, so I made some guesses.

I can't grade it, as I am a newbie.

The coin looks a little "used" === unless it is a special date or mint, most likely has a value in the $25 (plus or minus) range.

You said you inherited it. Is there any special feeling about the person who bequeathed it to you? If that person was close to you, you might regret selling it. Ponder that & let you thoughts guild you.

Looks like a 1926-S that is in the XF/AU range. I would ask about $40 according to numismedia.

It's one of many- I'm confident that selling just this one out of the bunch won't cause me any trouble.

EF-45. These come with a weak strike.

It looks about an EF-45 or so but the surfaces look kind of rough for the grade in particular the obverse.
