Hey everybody, hope you are all doing great! I received this last week from my Mother down in Florida, apparently she wasn't aware of my love for coins and just now sent this to me! It's from my great grandmother who passed away 10+ years ago. I will always treasure this and just wanted to share with you guys. (I'm not sure of the stuff on the plastic case surrounding the coins I do not believe they were taken care of in the best shape :/) Your friend,Trevor. No 1943 proof cents were struck, if I'm not mistaken, but it's a cool set. I hope for your sake they haven't been re-plated.

Cool little display, but the coins don't appear to be original.

I think it is a nice set However, I don't think these are original, circulated coins but coins replated, or "reprocessed" as Littleton calls them in their website. These sets were made with reprocessed steel cents, and isn't worth much numismatically, but that's an excellent keepsake for sure.

Genuine or replated it is a nice set that I have not seen before and it is a family piece. Write a short note about it's family history and keep it with the set. John1

I have one of those sets too, my dad gave me it.
After inspecting them I found out they're replated.
