Only found in the auctions of a single ebay member; you can find that seller by searching Titles and Descriptions for "eSlab."

I asked for close ups of a few coins. We'll see.

I asked the seller for closer pics of the following coin, as the Buy it now price was well below RedBook for the grade assigned. Believe it or not, they actually posted closer pics on the auction, and also noted where marks were. Curious to say the least.

Either they are being genuine, and truly think this coin grades at MS64, as I can't think of any reason a "scammer" would post the pics in the listing instead of sending them privately to the person requesting, or they just don't know how to grade and think this is close and will get bids anyway because of the low pricing. Judging by their claim on their site of 100 years experience, I don't know what to think.

Thoughts anyone, including on the grade a new closer pics?

A quick look at some of his "e-slabbed" Morgans suggests that the grades are possibly accurate. At least, the MS-labeled examples appear to be lustrous, undamaged mint state coins. Within the limitations of his photos, the 1878-CC Morgan looks like it may well grade MS-64.

I'd estimate that his price on that Morgan isn't suspiciously low. Retail price guides have this coin in the $625 range and a decent PCGS or NGC MS-64 example can probably be found for around his $495 buy-it-now price.

Just because most of the alphabet graders are con artists doesn't mean there aren't a few who are trying to grade accurately. Maybe some brave soul would be interested in negotiating a crossover guarantee with this seller!
