It bothers me that he calls it a penny. I don't know when or how this penny thing started, but as a coin collector, it really nags at me more than it should.

I agree, should be called a cent. Just a pet peeve of mine.

I think I would go a little step further and instead of calling it a "penny" call it a braided hair large cent and maybe add an opinion like very fine or very fine details depending on the condition.

It's a colloquialism....no big deal. Does a "buck" for a dollar or "fin" for a five or "C-Note" for One Hundred or "nickel" for a five cent bother anyone?

$10 is what the local PM dealer would charge me for it. $8 if I had bought his whole box. He knows I sell them on ebay.
