Sure looks like a nice die break to me. It appears to go from the rim into the wreath then travels upwards through the wreath beyond the photograph edge. Can you show the whole reverse of the IHC? If the die break completes itself back into the rim elsewhere, this is the beginning of a Cud, a big error worth a lot, when that happens, the whole design gets knocked out of the die, leaving a large void that is filled in with metal. This coin looks like a pretty close candidate for the start of a Cud. Very cool.

Well that's swell news thanks for the info and insight. So there is few possible in my rookie eyes but I think looks like at about 3 o'clock unless you have seen one with more then one? Everything I read said don't clean so kind of hard to tell. Please keep feeding the info. Thanks again. darn won't let up load from phone like other ones. Have to get you those pics tomorrow

It's possible it is foreign material, such as glue. A few more pictures would be helpful.
