Just a little background on this coin - I picked it up yesterday from a pawn shop I occasionally visit that does a lot of its business in coins and bullion. For whatever reason, recently they've been getting in a lot of heavily worn Morgans, and putting them out all together. I'd say none are better than G4, and several have additional issues such as badly dinged rims, recent scratches, odd mechanical surface damage, et cetera. Although low condition Morgans aren't normally on my radar, I rather liked this one for its consistent and apparently honest wear (albeit it does appear that at this advanced state, the reverses tend to look bit worse than the obverses). I have to also admit that in a perverse way, I thought it had a certain aesthetic quality.

An interesting pair of Morgans, both PCGS certified AG03, for the sake of comparison:

Not being an expert on Lowball Morgans, I would say AG-3 for the original OP's coin.
