Here is one of the first ancients I cleaned and lo-and-behold it was one that had never been ID'd before. Having Mr. Peabody and his 'WayBack Machine" helped out alot. That Dionysos is a party animal too, LOL...

Seriously, I sent the information and pictures to wildwinds.com and they included it on their research site, http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/gree...er_II/t.html along with a giving me credit, yippiee...

Thanks it was pretty cool. I purchased it in an uncleaned lot from ebay seller (aaccoins) or something like that. He's one of the best and located in Cyprus.

Congratulations, Bonedigger! Nice find!

I have not bought coins from Alex at aaccoins, but several members of the Numistreasures group on yahoo give him high marks. He is away in Malta now but says he will be posting new lots on ebay toward the end of August.
