I have heard that the magnet gets cluttered up with all sorts of things. Can someone explain how to access it? I have a friendly TD that I would like to try out the process on. I am assuming that they need to come over and open up the machine. But how to proceed from there?

THanks,

I believe they use Windex.

Just ask, when the machine needs service (you broke it, or when the bag fills), good luck.

Some older machines have the magnet right at the mouth of the throat where the coins go in. I can access it easily just as long as the macine is not running

There's no way I'm groping the banks coin counter. I mean, how far does one go?

Short of having the police called on your Az.

Fistful - I am not reaching down into machines. These are magnets right on the table. The coins are right there. The tellers have told me its ok to do since they throw them away.
