I wonder if anyone can help narrow down the class of this particular Edward I?

Edward-I---But-What-Class

I'm thinking it's class 3 ...something, but am not sure.

The obverse has been double struck. The obverse lettering is EDW R ANGL DNS HYB (with cross at 12 o'clock) and the reverse is CIVITAS CANTOR - Canterbury mint.

The doubling makes it hard to make out the contraction marks. The N in CANTOR is reversed; might suggest Group 2.

Many thanks - I think you may be right. The double striking and weak face does make this one quite difficult.
