thedollarman Pillar of the Community Canada 4911 Posts	Posted 07/21/2014 7:51 pm the coin you speak of is priced in the thousands and is one of the highest counterfeited American coins. we couldn't give you a proper value unless we determined if its real and ifso its grade, variety, originality etc... to help wed need pictures. Celticsoul Pillar of the Community United States 1566 Posts	Posted 07/21/2014 8:03 pm A coin that is that rare should be appraised by a reputable dealer in your area and insured if it is genuine. You could send the coin to one of the grading agencies such as NGC or PCGS. They will authenticate and grade the coin as to whether it's original and it's condition. Many buyers will not buy such a coin without being graded by one of these agencies. Google "NGC" or "PCGS". Report this Post to the Staff
