I have been using the web site http://www.coinsandcanada.com as reference for evaluating my Canadian coins. Does anyone know of another site to compare the coin values to?

I don't believe one is more accurate than the other, all price guides are ballpark figures, some ballparks being larger than others. The coinsandcanada price is much wider in scope than any other, and more frequently updated.

The only relevancy is the price paid between a buyer and seller at any given moment in time . Catalogue prices and trends are meaningless for the most part. A better guide is recent auction results ( ALL IN Prices of items sold ,not just the hammer ) and since ebay is the real instant market ............EBAY SOLD prices.

The problem with using ebay sold prices is what to do when you have coins that have not yet been sold on ebay
