2007 Nickel DDO?

i was roll hunting and this one caught my eye. is this a double die, double stamp, or am I just seeing things?

This is die deteriation very common in nickels some are more servere than others.

Die deteriation has a melted like look and doubling shows bigger than the letters and numbers itself. It also shows a flat shelf like doubling. Doubled dies do not show flat shelf like doubling. Best thing to do in your situation is buy some doubled dies and study them. But buy them from a trust worthy person that actually knows what they are talking about. To many people go on ebay etc... and sell stuff that isn't what they say it is. I'm sure somebody on here can help you out in that department.

The 2 looks thicker...however I do not really know what the date is supposed to look like as I do not collect Nickels.

After looking at other 2007 Nickel Date pictures I think the 2 has a die chip under the curved part. The rest is Die Deterioration as stated above. Very Old Die
