I know value for these common coins doesn't increase to you get to AU/MS. Just curious, what would you grade this walker?

That'd be another VF, are these all from the same place?

I would grade this one better than the other at least XF since the breast plate is full unlike the VF-35 coin on PCGS photograde. Yes, they are all from the same place. I got one more common coin, a little lower grade than these along with a 1916-D and a 1893 Columbian. I paid about $50 for all.

I am going to have to stick to XF on this one. Most of the right breast plate is gone on the VF-30 coin and that is not the case on this one.

VF30 as well on the original coin ... suggest that you separate the others into new posts if interested in opinions on them

Definitely think it is XF-40 now, due to some that under-grade others coins and try to stretch the grade on their own lol. Not that it matters, Numismedia lists this year at the same price for G-XF. I am keeping all these coins and not selling them along with 7/10 of another lot I bought.

On the original coin posted, VF-25 (cleaned). I suggest you try to get the black spots off of it using acetone. Since it appears cleaned, if acetone doesn't work, harsher measures might be required, but the black spots really need to get removed. Thanks for posting.

That black spot is from a ripped 2X2. If you look closely, you can see the tear. The 1916-D had the same thing. Apparently they have been in these 2X2 for a long time. One coin has a price of $2 on it. I would not clean a coin without a good reason and that is not one. That black spot will not come off and I don't believe it looks cleaned. What is your reason for stating it looks cleaned?
