Another question, Are there double dies that don't exhibit the crease or separation?
Your response earlier [ "Note the difference between Machine Doubling and hub doubling. The hub doubling is enlarged/widened/taller. Machine Doubling reduces the size of the devices." ]...it made me think of something I recalled seeing and a coin I recently posted. The 1969 S was used in an example by J.T. Stanton...the PDF paper was to help collectors identify differences DD and MDing. Here is his photo of GOD on the 69 S:

Without the creases it looks very similar to a coin I posted, just recently, of a strange GOD...looking at the two, and if you can ignor the creases, they are very similar.
