Okay, maybe not so shameless

I have compiled a quick "referrence" sheet for non-collectors and new collectors alike:

What to keep your eyes peeled for.

It is a one page referrence guide on what to look for in coins and currency you find in your pocket. Most are common sense, but some are overlooked by 90% of collectors. I will be dropping the hard copy off at the printers on Friday. If any member wishes to purchase a copy of this at my actual cost (1.55) plus shipping (37 cents) please drop me an email. It is printed in black and white. Just costing me the paper, printing, envelope and stamp.
Sorry, but no Paypal or Credit Cards on this one. Checks or money orders only. If you wish your copy laminated, it can be done. Not sure on that cost though.

This isn't fancy, and really isn't anything special (mostly common sense), just a quick guide to keep with you.

This guide was created for "friends" at the banks and other small businesses, but I will have about 50 extra.

I'll buy 6! One each for my kids and nieces and nephews!

My son found a 1972 DDO 1c that we sent it to PCGS and it came back AU55! He sold it on ebay for $265. Now he looks for Wide AM's, DDO's and all. All the time I tell him to "look it up" so he can see values for his coins. Just the idea that a cent can be worth dollars really hooked him.

As for my nieces and nephews, I always give them coins from their birth year, proofs, and current hot coins (like the proof bison nickel). These are gifts that they like and keep...from good 'ole Uncle Ed. I would give them one of these sheets, laminate it so they start looking through loose change.

Expect a check...I'm sold and I too could learn something.
