I thought some of you might be interested in this cute little Barber dime set that's now up for sale. All it will take is $1,350,000 and it's yours. Or you can throw in a 1894S PCGS PR64 Cameo CAC and pick it up for just $3,250,000

Take a look at the "Pop Higher" column, that's pretty amazing.

From Legend's Website

Quote:
Legend Numismatics is honored to offer our friends and all collectors this amazing collection: Yes, this is the Ex Law, now Simpson MS Barber dime Collection (#1 on the PCGS registry). Due to changing taste and believe it or not, lack of space, Mr Simpson has asked us to find this special collection a new home. This set could not be duplicated today.

Legend has exclusively built this set over a period of 20 years (we would hope the new owner would allow us to continue to be its exclusive supplier)! The very first coin we purchased for it (when it was the Law Collection) was a 1902S PCGS MS66-that is now in Legends "memories" collection. The 02S was replaced by a killer MS67. All through this sets life, we have been constantly searching for the very finest MS Barber dimes. We have rejected pieces if we thought they were just plastic grades. EVERY coin in the Law/Simpson Dime set not only is all there and then some, but has spectacular eye appeal. Saying "WOW" is light when starting to describe the quality. Listed below are just a few random highlights (really EVERY coin in this set is a highlight):

1892O PCGS MS66+ 06666204

1893 PCGS MS67+ 29582799

1896O PCGS MS66+ 06666210

1902O PCGS MS66+ 06666234

1903S PCGS MS67 06666238

1906D PCGS MS67 06666246

1910 PCGS MS68+ 06666261

1911 PCGS MS68+ 06666264

1914S PCGS MS67+ 06666274.

ALL the coins listed above are POP 1 with NONE higher. Of course there are MANY more Pop 1's that are the finest graded. Again, EVERY coin WILL blow you away with their superior quality and eye appeal.

You may visit the complete collection on the PCGS Registry at: http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/all...aspx?s=71629.

Do note, the majority of coins have NOT traded in many years. While researching pricing, for the most part there are NO reliable up to date sources. So you really have to estimate what a pop 1 coin purchased in 2005 would sell for today. We are offering the set at $1,350,000.00. For $3,250,000.00 we would make it a wicked cool set and add the 1894S PCGS PR64 Cameo CAC. With or without the 1894S, this collection offers one heck of a once in a lifetime opportunity. Over the long term, there have been no smarter purchases in numismatics then the VERY finest with awesome eye appeal-this collection for sure has all that and then some!
