This is a tough coin to find. I know, it took me many years to find it. Rare date and a rare grade. Barber half collectors should continue to persist in finding those tough ones, they are out there if you have the patience. 1913-1915 are much scarcer than one might think -- anything in MS-6x is almost impossible to find, and I think they are undervalued. Over the years I have put together a complete Barber half dollar set. The pre-1900 Barber halves are tough with full reverses in the lower (collectable) grades -- snap them up when you can. 1913-1915 in MS-6x are worth the hunt, buy them when you can. I almost fell off the chair when I found this one. Thanks for looking. Thanks for looking

Nice coin. How come it doesn't show up in PCGS cert verification for me?

High prices have brought out many of the late P mint date coins in low grades, but in MS grades, they are pretty tough. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely stunning! The Barber Coin Collectors' Society calls this an R4 in this date and grade. That's rare!

It appears to be a beautiful specimen - MS62 actually seems a bit conservative. But I'm also wondering why the certification number is "not available for display" on the PCGS website - and why the date and denomination info on the label look to be blacked out as well.

Quote: How come it doesn't show up in PCGS cert verification for me? Good point. I thought maybe PCGS was broken, but it takes in some of my labels just fine. The coin looks good, but the lack of cert identification as well as date/denom info makes me very suspicious. Might want to contact the seller and call PCGS.

How did you find it exactly? Did you send it in for grading?

As to why PCGS does not show the coin cert, I have no idea. I just got this back on 7/24 from PCGS in a new holder (but same PCGS number as before) See this link for more info. https://goccf.com/t/182436

Some additional pictures. Received directly from PCGS yesterday, so conspiracy theorists can relax! Thanks for looking.

The "share" feature may need to be activated on the PCGS website. Nice looking half btw.
