I hate colorized coins so bad, I was looking through ebay for the Lunar coins and I swear almost all of them were colorized just ruining the coin in my opinion.

This is just another fun way for me to do a type set, increase my silver hoard and have fun. It's also why I like the commemorative dollars for the same exact reasons and a plethora of designs to choose from.

You've hit most of what I have in my collection, and a few more that I didn't even know about. Here are a couple you might want to research to see if they would work for you. The second doesn't meet your criteria, unless you plan on expanding it in the future:

Israel 2009-present 2 NIS biblical themed, nicely stylized. My favorite year so far, if you want to do a search, is Jonah in the Whale.
Mongolia 2005-present 500 Torpor- Wildlife Protection, but it's proof and the latest ones are VERY pricey.

My collection of foreign bullion is by no means anywhere near completed, but here's what I have so far:

The extent of my collection is Maple Leaves, Libertads, Philharmonics, Kookaburra, 925 onzas, ASEs, and that's really it. Only proofs I got were Maple Leaves. I don't delve into weird type bullion (occasionally I do depending on supply - I got two of the wildlife series). I can't stand too much "diversification" in a collection. Makes you not want to part with it or value each piece different - slows down your liquidity. If you're attached to your bullion you're doing it wrong. Canadian bullion is cheapest for me, so I get that over Australian (or any other) bullion even though Australian coins are nicer IMO to look at.

barry: great collection! Love seeing the Aztec kilo again. I think that if that design went onto a one ounce coin they would sell out.

The design is so incredibly detailed and intricate that I'm not sure it would even be possible to put it on a once ounce coin, to be honest. But, yeah -- I'd buy a roll for sure!

If we were talking strictly about bullion as an investment, I would agree. I would also agree to that statement for anyone that collects pennies, quarters, dollar coins, halves, etc as a way of savings or investment. For a coin collector who is doing it for enjoyment, though, it's hard to say that we shouldn't get attached to our coins, even if what we collect happens to be bullion coins. If you didn't get attached to them in some way, where would the enjoyment come from? From a collector standpoint (as opposed to an investor), I'd have to say that there really is no wrong way to do it. Maybe more efficient ways or inexpensive ways, etc, but no wrong way.

I had a pretty nice set of 39 1oz coins going last year.
14 years of maples
9 years of eagles
5 years of Pandas
4 years of Libertads
2 Philharmonics
2 Britannias
1 Kookabura
1 Koala
1 Fiji Taku

But a dealer at a show showed significant interest as he said one of his clients was compiling such a set and offered me a few higher-end Canadian Coins for them, an offer which I took. So now I'm stuck with my one tube of Maples which has been sitting in the bank locker since 2009 along with a few from the wildlife series.

I am not collecting these as an investment piece per se, it's nice they have some intrinsic value to them but thats more of the cherry on the sundae. I am collecting these as I like silver and I like type sets (I am big type set guy, heck I am doing three different US type sets right now from the 7070 to the whitman 20th century and was thinking of adding a littleton one as well). So yes there is a little attachment to them even if they are bullion.

When I first got into coins I started actually collecting generic bullion rounds but I find I like a story a pedigree more so if I am going to collect bullion I want to say this ones for Austria or Australia or China its nice they are silver but thats not the only selling point to me.

I assume the OP is talking about BU bullion coins, based on the list provided. Here's what I can think of. I'm sure there are others that I've missed:

Mexican Libertad 1982-Present
South Africa Krugerrand 1983
ASE 1986-Present
Canadian Maple Leaf 1988-Present
Chinese Panda 1989-Present
Australian Kookaburra 1990-Present
Australian Kangaroo 1993-Present
UK Britannia 1998-Present (.958 fine until 2012, .999 fine 2013-present)
Somali Monkey 1998-2004 <= fun series to put together
Zambia Elephant 1998-2003 (prequel to somalia elephants)
Australian Lunar Series I 1999-2010
Mexico Wildlife 2000-2001 (10 coin series, 4 in 2000, 6 in 2001)
Somalia Elephant 2004-Present
New Zealand Kiwi 2004-2011
Australian Koala 2007-Present
Austrian Philharmonic 2008-Present
Rwanda Wildlife 2008-Present
Australian Lunar Series II 2008-Present
Andorra Eagle - 2008-2009, 2011, 2013-?
Cook Islands 2009-Present
Kazakhstan Irbis (Snow Leopard) 2009-2010
Russia St. George 2009-2010
Malawi Springbok 2010-2011
Fiji Taku 2010-2013
Canadian Wildlife 2011-2013 (6 coins, 2 each year)
Armenia Noah's Ark 2011-Present
Ukraine Archangel 2011-Present
Kiwi Treasures 2012-Present
Gabon Springbok 2012-Present
Suriname Map 2013
Tokelau Lunar 2013-Present
Australian Stock Horse 2013-Present
UK Lunar 2014
Benin Elephant 2014
Isle of Man Angel 2014
Canadian Birds of Prey 2014 (2 this year)
Australian Saltwater Croc 2014
Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle 2014
Niue Hawksbill Turtle 2014

Like I said, I'm sure I missed some of the newer ones that have popped up recently, but based on the series shown above, there's somewhere around 320 individual coins, all 1 oz. My personal favorite, however is:

US America The Beautiful 5 oz 2010-Present (5 coins each year)

I, too, am trying to put together a type set of bullion starting this year, but only the cheap ones. No more than $5 over spot (except for the Lunar Horse lol)

SDCrow - Amazing list! Very well done, indeed! Do you have guidelines for which ones you collect? (One from each country, one from each mint, only Lunars, no Lunars, only those at spot plus a %, etc)

Actually, I'm a collector of them all. I have around 80% of the 320-ish coins. Having said that, though, its going to be tough to continue. As you can see the number of new series has exploded in the last few years. I liked working on all of them simultaneously as it let me be patient and add coins when I found what I thought was a below market price. I dont concern myself to much with price relative to spot. I'm more concerned with price compared to what others are paying for the same thing. I would like to think I bought a majority of coins this way. If I were starting today I would focus on my favorites, add the new coins in the year they are released as the premium is the lowest, and be patient. Deals come along all the time. And when a good opportunity presents itself, be ready to take full advantage. Finally, if I was starting from scratch, I would focus on the series that change designs. Those tend to appreciate in value more than some of the mono-design series... And they are far more interesting to this collector. Examples:

5 oz ATB's!
Any Aussie series
Pandas
Pre-2012 Britannia's (same annual design going forward)
The various African wildlife/animal series.

Another option is to get as many coins in the issue year. That's actually how I started. For example, I haven't checked the exact numbers, but we've got to be pushing 30 unique 1 oz coins for 2014 alone. I would expect that number to only grow from here.

Wow what a list thank you for that sdcrow, and a great reference for my project. Its kind of taken an evolutionary turn as I was thinking I want to mix the old with the new now as a cross reference so a UK crown and Britannia, a Canadian dollar and maple leaf, a morgan and silver eagle.

I think where I expand from here is where I can get a corresponding crown to cross reference it with. Or if something really catches my eye bullion wise. I am going to go with a crowns of the world album and add pages to it like a 41mm page and a 37mm page.
