My 6 year old son has taken an interest in the State Quarters. What would be a good folder/album to buy? I tend to be a bit on the frugal(cheap)side, and we are going to fill it from circulation. So something a kid/beginner would like would be nice. Thanks. Ed

The Whitman State Quarter folder is great for a circulation set. And it should only cost you about $5. Check with your local Barnes & Nobles...or you can order them online / ebay. I just picked one up to put my circ set of State Quarters into

Thanks for the Whitman suggestion. I see they also have a 120 hole folder for both mints. My son is already proud of finding Ps and Ds, so this might be the best fit.

We have the Harris and Co. Collector Map. My kids love it . As they insert the coins we find , they learn about the state, the size, where in the country it is, when it was admitted to the Union. A combined geography, history and coin collecting lesson all in one.

I like the Warman's folder that I ordered from Amazon. It has one hole for each state and includes the territories, so it can be filled easily and inexpensively. When I first got it, I wasn't much concerned with mint marks; now that I've started the ATB Quarters, I am. So I picked up a Whitman folder with P & D holes for the ATB's. The folders are not of the greatest construction, but it works. May upgrade to an album at some point down the road.

edit: Did quite a bit of research since yesterday and the best map looks to be this one, Hobby Lobby supposedly stocks it.

Swung by Hobby Lobby on my way to work, and picked up the above linked Whitman with the 40% off coupon for $6.47 including tax. What a great country we live in.

Hey, I might contact you after we fill this one. Wanted to start with a simple map version, and then move up to the P&D set. Thanks.
