I would think the one inside the shield would be the strike from grossly misaligned dies and the other be common.

Its an Overton 107 variety. Obvious diagnostic is the lump above the eagle's left wing....Yes... the clashing is common on that variety as well as 1813 & 1814 issues....

BEAUTIFUL!I love the clashes of the CBHs!! My 1812 O-107 (posted for comparison) doesn't show the letters in the shield anywhere near as nice as yours!
