Im curious as to what you all aspire to buy this month, do you make a list? Do you ever have a plan of what to buy and then change 100% once you get to the coin store!?
Here is my plan:
18 more 1971 S brown ikes
1959-1964 Mint sets
1961-1962 proof sets.
I reckon I'll achieve this goal, the only thing that might hinder it is if the guy runs out of ikes!
What are your plans for august ?

As it stands right now, I would like to get the 1993-1998 silver proof Kennedy halves. I just purchased the '93 today. That's one down at least. |

Interesting plan, I don't think you will find a lack of supply for Ike's. Not sure why you want to buy them in quantity, but we all get on a tangent -- heck I bought 100 1957 proof sets and don't really know what I was thinking at the time (probably too many martinis)!

Oh, I just noticed your post was a question. IF I were to make a purchase this month, I would consider rolls of Merc dimes around silver spot price -- yes they are out there.

Jimbucks- Ikes have a special spot in my collection. I think 25 of them in a roll is just marvelous looking, sounding, and feeling. 100 proof sets, that sweet!!

SoCal- no, I just get them on ebay. Getting real tired of buying only on ebay. I want to actually go somewhere (B&M) and buy something. I'm envious of those who are able to go to a LCS on a regular basis. There are none around me. |

Let see what on my plan for this month. Just got a CBH in the mail from E-bay 1929 NGC VF-30. Three books from E-bay: Garrett Collection, Standing Liberty quarters By J.H. Cline, and Flying Eagle cents 1856-58. Four other books on the way. Bidding on 2000 Sydney Olympics Gold Coin $100 proof and Canadian $8 Silver Coin. Picking up few more World gold coins. Finally, three major auctions this month( maybe I will get lucky). |

We will see. I normally take a couple months off since I'm a college kid and pretty stingy. So I do a lot of CRH too to get coins for cheap. Box of pennies on Tuesday. But on the 9th there is a coin show!! Really excited, it'll be just my second so I hope I can get some goodies

Never been to a show! I'm jealous. I can relate, I'm in college also, and spend too much money on silver and CRH haha, but it's so worth it!
johntookit- wow! you have quite a agenda there! Goodluck, I hope you get all of that this month!
