ebay Listing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/26155102204....m1555.l2649 Really appreciated the help guys to finding the coin guys. I have it listed on ebay at the moment. I have a couple of coins that were found and I'm pretty happy that there's bites. I was going to sell them to a dealer but the business side of me did some research. Back Story on The Coins I have for sale: So the story is that my parents bought a car in the United States that they bought from an auction or something. The guy had died and the family had sold the car from there. My dad imported the car to mexico (someone had to drive it down, lol!) And it turned out he had a silver stash. So yeah. :) Edited by Echocentricity 08/02/2014 11:09 pm

Looks like some sort of souvenir medal. Probably just worth a few dollars or whatever silver content it may contain.

I bought a collection with one of those in it and sold it on ebay a year or two ago. At the time I had figured out who minted it but I have forgotten. It did quite a bit better than silver value. Mine was a small one about the size of a 50 cent piece. Here is a large one from a tcnc auction. http://auctions.tcnccoins.com/Medal...rt_i9421161.

I have one in a gold alloy but I'm not really sure if it actually has any gold though. About the size of a nickel.
I'll post a picture if I can find it. :)

Hmm alright thanks guys, Should I hang on to it or what should I do? Is it possible to clean it, lol. Interesting story is that my parents bought a car that they brought down from the US, and the guy had a silver stash. The guy had died and they just decided to sell his car. and it found its way to mexico from there. lol I have experience in on ebay etc. should I just try to auction?

TCNC says their was 70 grams and 6mm in diameter, which must be incorrect. Probably 70 grams and 6 cm. That is a big medal....over 2 ounces of silver, which probably explains why it went for $185. If yours is 2 ounces, then it is a match. If it is the size of a 50 cent piece, then it is likely the one I had. I think it went for maybe $40 or $50. Either way, I suspect ebay will be the most effective way to sell it. I would mention the weight in your listing and I would not even consider cleaning it. If you clean it, you will likely only get bullion value.

Thanks.
Any key words I should mention?
Or just "rare" centennial victoria die gratis coin?
It only weights 14g btw haha so definitely not that one.
Will just try to see if I can get anything for it haha.

At 14g it was very likely the same one I had. The silver value is +/- $10 but I think I got a multiple of that. Good luck! I am not sure I would call it "rare" though.

A long time ago, someone on ebay had posted that ad along with a gold example for sale. I had emailed the seller looking for a bigger scan of the add... nice guy, he promptly sent me a readable version. I will upload and post it momentarily...
