Quote: It weighs 7 grams and has 986 or 689 on the edge..not sure if that is the bona fide or not. trimble I don't have mine right at hand but I have a picture of an edge of one and it has "24K" roughly stamped on the edge. I am quite sure these would have had more than one production run... to "satisfy demand". I also would not doubt that at the time of production, .986 Fine would be a more accurate assay than 24KT. I would not rule out a change on the edge purity marking through the issue(s). By your pictures and weight, it appears yours is genuine.

I have updated the OP with the listing.
Thanks guys for your help, I will be messing around with it and we'll see what happens.
I was going to sell them to a dealer anyways, so hopefully all the silver coins go to a collection.
Even thought the ones that aren't in their little box are not in that much of a good condition. xD
Wasn't my fault!

How do you quote people?
And no idea lol I usually sell video games, I will adjust this because obviously it doesn't make sense, now that you mention it.
Hopefully I can change it.

Is USPS First Class Mail International around the same cost as it is in the US?
Or should I just send it through the US shipping center. I will be opening it up to canada.

thanks and for a low value item such as this I would say regular white business envelope would be more than enough to Canada and fairly cheap for you guys

Have a couple of questions.
How do you quote people?
Should I open up all the Canadian coins to canada? Even though they're mostly valued at their silver content?

Sorry that it's not in a really good condition, lol.
If it was originally mine, I would have kept it safer. :)

Don't use the shipping centre. It adds huge fees and compulsory duty to Canada. There is usually no duty collected on coins shipped to me out of the US.

I apologize for not having shipping to Canada!
I thought I had fixed it but I needed to change my shipping exclusions again.
But it's been done.

So what do you guys think the value of the coin is going to end up at?
I put it up for 24.99, but I am wondering what it possibly might go up too.

Quote: How do you quote people? You have to do what I just did - type [quo te], copy-and-paste the text you wish to quote, then type [/quo te]. All the "quote" button on the Reply-to-Topic page does is type those quote command boxes for you; you still need to cut-and-paste the quoted text. Quote: How do I print off the poster you posted? Anyone? The same way you can print off just about any picture from the Internet - copy it and paste it into Word, or Paint, or some other program, and print it from there.

Hi all, hopefully this alerts all previous posters.
I may..have found a rather large (and heavy) gold version of this coin..
58.9 grams and 60mm to be exact.
Can anyone assist with authentication?

Start with photos.
It is possible they made one in another size, though they would have had to pay for an extra set of dies, which seems unlikely.
If gold, a centennial medal of this size is going to be worth more or less bullion content regardless. So I would just get the metal content verified by an XRF rather than worrying about whether it is a genuine new version of this medal.
