Looks like the same design. Does not look like a proof strike to me and I think I see touches of possible reaction with the air (i.e., corrosion). This points to a lower value metal to me.

I am going to guess this a larger brass version of the coin. Just a guess though.

Any hallmarks stamped into the edge?

Quite some time ago, I was fortunate to find a nice graded example at an area coin show for around $30 which I was quite happy to add to my collection as they are often seen ungraded and not in pristine condition.

A must have for those who are into Effigies and Coats of Arms.

There are varieties of on the reverse design and the strange looking design to the right of Victoria indicates that it was a restrike.

Not aware that these were struck in any other metals than gold and silver.
