I recently pulled these from CRH. Does the toning look natural?

From a newbie here on CCF

I am not at all familiar with Kennedy toners.

I do have many Ikes toners.

To me, than look natural. But I need to add, I have never seen other (Not Silver) Kennedy toners.

Question. How do you think they became toners? Maybe in an album?

Yes, they look natural to me. I have a few like that.

Probably from being stored in paper or an album.

There are several ways they could tone like that. It could have been an album (like you mentioned) or they could have been in an canvas bag (where the light and some kind of chemical mixes to form the color on the metal of the coin) or it could be AT where someone took heat or chemicals to make those colors. If that is the case then I will toss them back (except for the first one)

Anyone else want to take a stab at it?

I think the tone is natural. I have some SBA in 2 x 2 cardboard holders with a similar tone probably due to moisture.

I think every area in the nation contributes to some form of different toning,Depends of what in the air and its suroundings,My old Grand ma use to get her Glass ware out and set them in the sun for months and you talk about the pretty colors that would form in that glass was amazing
