I have a complete album of Wheat Pennies from 1909. Does not have any doubled dies. I do have the 1909s vdb, 1914D, 1931S and I also have the 1922 type II no d (but this one has been cleaned but is a great filler and looks awesome). What would something like this be worth?

Rest in Peace

You can find the values of the coins by looking them up, one at a time, to see what they have sold for. Or try Numismedia Fair Market Value to get a rough idea.

It's all going to depend upon the grade of the coins.

If you post some nice clear photos, you'll get some opinions.

The majority of the value of the set will depend on the condition of 10 or so key and semi key date coins.

As you by now have read the condition of the coins is more important than the completed set. By that I mean even if complete but all excessively worn, that is one value. If all are like new, could be worth a small fortune.
For example the 1914D alone could be worth from $200 to over $3,000 pending condition. Similarly almost all of the early S minted coins too could run from a few dollars to many hundreds of dollars each. The condition of each coin could make a massive difference in value. And your 1922 plain could be worth many thousands of dollars, again pending condition.

Welcome! Pics would be awesome and we may be able to ballpark some grades but, for me, I just want to see the complete set! :) If you have the time and care, take pics of the key and Semi-key dates, one coin at a time, and post them in the grading section. That will get you much closer to the actual worth.

Let's see the goods!

I do thank all of you for your response. Unholyroller, you did make me laugh. I had to look at my title again. I am going to try and get some pictures on here. I know it will take me some time. I am not the best at doing these things but I am definitely going to try. And one penny at a time will indeed take time. Once I have the pictures taken, I will figure out how to get them on here. Please be very, very patient with me as I am slow and old (I am old enough now to blame everything on my age.). Again, thanks for the responses.

You can try to take photos of every page instead. That won't take nearly as long as trying to do each coin individually.

Here is the first my first pic. Took me so long that I will post the others later. My camera is not the best. When I look at the vdb, I can really see it clearly.

What a way to start with the photos! The king of Wheats! I would say a solid F15 based on the wear in the wheat lines and cheek. It may go VF20 or 25 but I can't see the wheat lines that well. That dig under 'United' may nick the price a bit but it would definitely sell no matter what (if that's what you are interested in doing).

Numismedia pegs this beauty at around $830 to $890. Like I said, not a bad start! :)

This is the 1914d. I know it is not very good but it is still a keeper.
