The next purchase for my Type set is a Trade dollar. I have been searching PCGS and NGC Trade dollars (as mentioned many times, this is an issue that is a good to purchase slabbed). I am looking to find a coin in the VF35 to AU50 range for about $200 to $300. At the bottom end of this range I came across the following 1878-S PCGS slabbed VF35. Thoughts? Just looking to see if I am on the right track. Didn't purchase anything yet...

That's a nice type coin, looks pretty close to a 35 too.

I knew I recognized the photography style and lighting, so I went to the website I suspected it was at a lo and behold, there's the coin! I've had my eye on her for a while. I know where the coin is being sold from but will not reveal it or purchase it because of your interest in it. It's very deserving of the grade with reasonable detail. (Edit): Notice my avatar? I got that coin from the same website. That's how I recognized the photo.

Excellent. Truly solid, defect-free example which easily makes its' grade. Worth every penny; if VF's could get a "+" this one would.

Nice looking trade dollar- I've seen that one on the seller's website, also, and thought it was a good coin for a fair price. Post some more pics when you have it in hand!

Thanks for all the input! Coin was received yesterday. The pictures are very accurate to how the coin looks in hand.
