From the experience of owning a few of the old Anacs holders, I will surmise that the OP senses that the OLD ANACS holder is an unusually tiny coin holder, off-white and perhaps discolored with age, with bumps and bruises along the outer edges of the plastic case, and overall - these old ANACS holders just seem almost "cheap" in their construct; I went through the smae psychological challenge with myself, and succumbed by having mine reholdered into the ANACS Blue Holders.

So, if it makes you happy, send it back to ANACS or another TPG; probably the best advice you got was to keep it exactly as it is though.

ANT that dollar you show looks very nice and I think would upgrade in a PCGS holder. That said I like the older ANACS holders the best for size and storage space in my deposit boxes or safe. They take up a lot less room.
