Maybe all proceeds went to some charity and the $100 grand is tax deductible or something. Just think what real numismatic goody could have been bought with that money....

Notice they say the customer buys a lot of coins from Coin Vault! That says a lot right there!

That's just plain silly IMO! I don't see that coin ever being able to be resold at that level. But I've been wrong before. OK, "First Sold" at the ANA in Chicago, but it's not likely it was the "first minted." I don't understand the attraction! I hope the buyer enjoys it!

That person is not a coin collector, they are a hype collector.

They're going to cry when the mint releases a second gold Kennedy coin.

It's Not even the first one minted. It's the first one sold at the ANA convention. "If" I had a $100,000 to blow it would not be on this one. How much did the holder make it?

Can you imagine what coins you could get for a 100k versus paying for a label. Imagine all the nice coins that could be had instead of a label on a $1250 coin. He paid 98,750 for a label.

Is there a special holder for the "Last" one sold? :)

I don't care how "important" someone thinks this coin is..those two dealers are laughing all the way to the bank.
