This one is much closer in person to the dealers photos. These are completely unedited and very quickly shot cell phone pics. It was mentioned in the other thread that it looked undergraded. I think its not a 64 due to a bunch of scuffs on the cheek which are very loud in one of these photos from the unflattering angle I captured it at. I like this coin, I'm going to keep it.

I agree it's not a 64, but a very nice 63. Nice color too, bet it really pops in hand!

Thanks guys. I just got bit by the bug so will show more as I get them. Still mostly doing my indian eagle set, but now I want alot of toned morgans!

Yeah I learned from this, as I never had any graded morgans. Now I know the little things to look for. Regardless of the cheek, the way the toning pattern looks is enough for me to love the coin. Its not perfect but It makes me happy! There is a CRAZY bright toned coin on my radar but it costs alot more. I will keep you posted obviously if I make a move.

And yes, I always love blue toning on silver..quite scarce :-)

The 1914p MS63 quarter eagle will arrive soon and THEN the collection will begin as I get a good start to the set. Until then, its just a few random coins. :)
