Hello everyone I'm new to the forum and needing help identifying this coins error. I've read that broken dies do not leave indentations so what can it be? I'm thinking it had to be done during minting process. On the obverse side of the coin there is an indention that traces the back of lincoln from the middle of the head all the way down. Something else strange is there looks like sideways eight or possibly a three about the size of a mint mark at about the ten o'clock position on the coin. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
