So going through the foreign junk bin where all the coins are 20 cents I just picked out some coins that looked cool. I had already scored on a 50% silver half crown earlier in the week and I grabbed a florin pretty sure it was silver to confirm my belief when I got home.

I also grabbed a third coin that I just thought looked cool a estados unidos mexicanos diez nuevos pesos. I thought its 1994 no way is it silver just looks cool figured the inner part was some kind of nickel or other base medal.

Start googling it and sure enough the inner part is silver.

I swear that 20 cent junk bin is a gold mine.

Nice find. The center of your coin is 0.925 silver.

They clearly have no clue about foreign coins. Once might be a mistake but that's three in a week. It's a cool looking coin it's why I bought it.
Rest in Peace

I just go through the junk boxes and pull whatever I like -- never found any silver but it's still a lot of fun.

But three in one week?! Keep digging -- there might be gold! LOL

I hope your good luck continues.

Yea I just recently starting expanding my collection to foreign coins after specialising in US coins for the last decade. So I go through the bin and pull what I just think looks cool. I've pulled a lot of the different canadian and uk large cents and a Churchill crown and a Hong Kong dollar stuff like that. This is the first time I'm ever go through there foreign I think they are filling a smaller bin from a larger bin for me look through I should see if they'd bring everything out for me.
