Saw a bunch lot of countefeits uploaded to omnicoin and I had to write something about it. The so called expert challenged me to explain why they are counterfeit. I'll refrain from giving exact words but I found it hilarious.

If you reckon any of those "crowns" are genuine, I would like to know. These are actually very easy to tell.

Well... probably just someone who has ulterior motives in "proving" that these coins are real.
They're very obvious fakes, not only do they have the color and look of pretty much every fake made in Hong Kong but they also have the uneven strike weakness, grainy texture and uneven wear as a result of casting.

You'd think that anyone who's examined a Chinese Fake before or is an "Expert on historic silver dollars circulated in China during the Qing Dynasty and Republic of China until 1949." would know this.

That "1794 Flowing Hair dollar" is pathetic. Looks more like the Half Dime version to me.

Looks to me easy to detect fakes as have, more or less, same pattern of patina and details

Supposed to be an 1869 Swiss "shooting thaler", they used the French 5 franc reverse instead of the correct one. Basically it's a fantasy piece.
