The so called expert challenged me to explain why they are counterfeit. They're very obvious fakes, not only do they have the color and look of pretty much every fake made in Hong Kong but they also have the uneven strike weakness, grainy texture and uneven wear as a result of casting. You'd think that anyone who's examined a Chinese Fake before or is an "Expert on historic silver dollars circulated in China during the Qing Dynasty and Republic of China until 1949." would know this.
